A useful fit for 20-minute and longer recordings
The price is 50¢ for the first five minutes, then 2¢ per additional started minute. A 20-minute recording costs 80¢; a 60-minute recording costs $1.60. Shorter recordings are accepted, but the fixed charge makes longer recordings a better fit.
File size and recording length are different limits
The audio can be up to 120 minutes including encoding padding, but its uploaded file must also fit within 24 MB. A long uncompressed WAV may exceed that limit. A short video can also be too large.
Upload the speech, rather than the picture
The local file helper can extract a compressed mono MP3 audio track from your video. It keeps the spoken audio and leaves your original file unchanged. Check the prepared file before you purchase.
Let the job finish in the background
After payment, keep the job ID and private access key. Poll status rather than opening another purchase. Download the completed text before its returned deadline. Processing time depends on the recording; no fixed completion time is promised.
