These terms apply to one recording transcription purchase from Transcript by Aira. Card payments are processed for Aira through secure checkout. Upload only recordings you are allowed to process and share for transcription. Get permission from recorded people when required.
Your purchase
The accepted quote identifies the recording, USD price and one-hour expiry. The price is 50¢ for the first five minutes, then 2¢ per additional started minute. Payment buys one asynchronous plain-text transcript. English speech is supported. Speaker labeling, summaries, timestamps and translations are not included. Transcription is automated and may contain mistakes. Review the text before relying on it.
Private access and retention
Save your job ID and private access key. Keep them secure. Save access before paying. Result access ends seven days after quote creation, at the deadline returned with the quote. Expired media and results are deleted through verified cleanup; unresolved processing or payment records are retained for review. Recordings and results are retained for processing and owned cleanup. Unresolved jobs and financial records remain for reconciliation.
Failed delivery and refunds
Contact support with the job ID to resolve failed delivery or a refund. If the payment or processing outcome is uncertain, support reviews it before another attempt or refund. Do not buy the same recording again while its first job is under review.
